Keep your eye on the ball, part 1 of 2

This sermon is about Matthew 7:13-14 “broad is the way that leads to destruction and narrow is the way which leads to life”. When you try to catch a baseball, its a good idea to keep your eyes on the ball. Seven minutes with Noah

This second podcast is part of a series called “Seven minutes with…” in which I go through the Bible, starting with the book of Genesis.

My podcast generally fall into four categories: faith, music, life style or politics. I divide each of the four categories into subcategories (tags). This series, “Seven minutes with…”, falls into the overarching category of Faith, and the subcategory (tag) of “Know your Bible” or “Redemptive-Historical/Biblical Theology”.

Today I continue on last episode. “Noah found grace” in the eyes of the Lord. It is the first mention of grace in the Bible.  Noah mean “rest”. In other words, rest found grace in they eyes of the Lord. If you want grace in the eyes of the Lord, you need to be a man of rest.

Letter to Jesus People #1

Dear Jesus People  Originally written Aug 2010

I am Dan, the son of Linda Meissner. I have been asked to share with you what the Lord has laid on my heart.

I have dedicated my life to expanding the kingdom of God ever since I was a little child, mainly through worship. I have ministered in such various places as the Presidential Palace in Kiev, for the Latvian government in Riga, and on Swedish national television in ”Battle of the Choirs”. I currently direct four gospel choirs in Sweden. A warm greeting also to you from my precious wife, Mary, and our son, Emmanuel-Luke. It is our hope that we will soon be able to visit you all, and share with you in the fellowship of the Lord Jesus Christ.
