The Philosophy of Liberty

This video brilliantly outlines the basic principals of Liberty. In a sense the philosophy of liberty is the belief that our rights come from God, not from the government. The state has no right to decide what we should think, believe, say, or do. Neither does it have the right to trespass (or “spy”) on our property, whether that be our personal body, our home, our conversations, or activities. What right does the state have then? That’s easy, it has the right to ensure our liberty.

Peace is far superior to war

I am both astonished and saddened by many Christians’ fascination and obsession with war. What light from hell has blinded us, when believers hunger and thirst for war?! How dare we call ourselves Christians when curse what God blesses (peace) and bless what God has cursed (war)?

Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. He was never to be recognized as the promoter of war.
