I am both astonished and saddened by many Christians’ fascination and obsession with war. What light from hell has blinded us, when believers hunger and thirst for war?! How dare we call ourselves Christians when curse what God blesses (peace) and bless what God has cursed (war)?
Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. He was never to be recognized as the promoter of war.
Here’s a question I get all the time, and it goes something like this: “Dear Dan. I see you’re friends with Muslims on Facebook, and sometimes you even share links about Islam on your own page. Why? What’s your take on Islam? And do you believe it’s proper for a Christian minister like yourself to associate with Muslims?”
I will be sharing more on this later, but I felt I needed to quickly make a post, making clear my views on Pastors preaching on politics.
Pastors aught to be free to preach on whatever they choose to. Period. That includes politics. So do not be intimidates by the IRS.
I feel it is my duty, as an American, to participate in the demographic process of electing our next president. That’s why I will share briefly why I endorse Ron Paul for president. I will present my case in four parts. 1) Why Obama won’t be getting my vote. 2) Why most of the Republican nominees won’t get my vote. 3) Why Ron Paul get’s my endorsement. 4) Can Ron Paul win?
